I’ve struggled with my weight my whole life. Some years I’m up, some years I’m down, and it feels less like a straight line and more like a cycle I keep going through. I go through bouts of real inspiration, the kind where I actually feel motivated to make changes and stick with them for a while. But when I’m in a slump, and I definitely still have those, I love turning to the internet to help pull me out of it.
There’s something about seeing regular people put in real work and come out the other side that resets something in my brain. When people share their weight loss before-and-after photos, it makes me want to go to the gym, or at the very least, put down that second cookie I was about to eat today.
