“Ikea Pets” — 70 Pets That Look Like They’re Still Missing A Few Screws
I don’t know what it is about certain animals, but some of them look like they were built rather than born. Fur patterns that don’t quite match up on either side, patchwork coloring that looks assembled rather than natural, dogs contorted into positions even the most seasoned yoga instructor couldn’t pull off without a trip to urgent care.
There’s a whole corner of the internet, r/IkeaPets, dedicated to celebrating exactly that: pets who look like they walked straight out of a flat-pack box with an Allen wrench still taped to the side. Some of these are proportioned a little wrong, some just have that stiff, assembled-in-a-warehouse posture, and it makes them funnier, not less lovable.
