35 Times Tourists Made Everyone Around Them Visibly Uncomfortable
As an American, I’m hyper aware of how I’m perceived the second I step off a plane somewhere else. I try to be respectful when I’m somewhere else, keeping my voice low in restaurants, not being the loudest person in any room, because the reputation precedes us whether we like it or not.
But bad tourist behavior isn’t exclusive to any one country. It’s a universal thing that shows up everywhere, from every kind of traveler. Loud in quiet places, entitled with locals, completely unaware that everyone around them is silently begging for them to stop.
These pics call out every kind of rude tourist, wherever they’re actually from. Try not to recognize someone you’ve traveled with.

Tourists started tying whatever they had with them to the fencing, including hair ties, tissues, receipts, napkins, plastic bags, panties, bracelets, hair clips, tampons, and more.”
