Ad placement is one of those jobs that looks easy right up until it very much isn’t. Somebody has to decide where every single ad goes, and most of the time it works out fine, a banner here, a sidebar there, nothing anyone thinks twice about. But every so often the algorithm or the person behind it completely misses the moment, and an ad ends up sitting directly next to the one thing it should never be anywhere near.

Nobody plans it that way, that’s exactly what makes it so funny when it happens. These unfortunate ad placements are proof that even the smartest systems sometimes miss the obvious, and the results are almost too perfect to be accidental.
