Old Myspace profiles are a universal source of shame. Now imagine getting famous before you ever got around to deleting yours. That’s exactly what happened to a handful of celebrities, and their pages are still sitting out there online, completely unbothered by the fact that the rest of us moved on over a decade ago.

These profiles and photos they left up are a strange little time capsule of the original social media. Even now-famous people were once just as weird and random as everyone else scrolling through their own cringe right now.

1. Kim Kardashian

“Princess Kimberly,” Kim Kardashian, 25 — Kim went full pink princess mode before “Kim Kardashian” was a household name. Between the glitter background, the relationship status announcement, and a level of pageantry usually reserved for actual royalty, this profile makes it clear she’d already mastered branding herself, just with significantly more Comic Sans and significantly fewer reality show cameras involved.

2. Tom Hardy

Long before the blockbusters, Tom Hardy’s Myspace page was mostly just photos like this one, camera flash included. He apparently listed “serious relationships” as one of his reasons for being on the site, which is a little funny given how chaotic the rest of his bio reportedly was. A different kind of profile than what you’d expect from him now.

“Kendall,” mood: hyper, Kendall Jenner — Before international runways, there was a thermal filtered profile photo and a URL that has nothing to do with high fashion whatsoever. A very different chapter than the one she’s known for now.

A completely different kind of songwriting, but the same commitment to a bit.

This isn’t a bio, it’s a hostage note with better branding. Somewhere between the all caps and the dollar signs, punctuation gave up entirely. 2008 Kesha wasn’t writing a Myspace profile, she was declaring war on subtlety.

The pink obsession was already fully formed here, though the outfits featured throughout the page have not aged nearly as well as the music did.
