There are a lot of products out there that technically solve a problem, but mostly just create a new thing you have to find room for in a kitchen drawer. These are not those products.

These are the genuinely clever inventions that make you stop scrolling for a second and wonder why we haven’t been doing things this way the entire time. Some solve tiny everyday annoyances, while others are such smart product designs that they feel almost embarrassingly obvious in hindsight.

Either way, I have a lot of respect for anyone who looks at something we’ve all just accepted as mildly annoying and says, “No, I can fix that.”
