In about six months, I’m going to have my first kid, so naturally, all the uncertainty is starting to set in. I know it’s pretty cliché, but that actually comforts me. Every new parent worries about what could go right, what could go wrong, and the roughly one million possibilities in between.

It’s stressful, exciting, scary, and happy all at once. I have no idea what’s going to happen, but I’m trying to go with the flow and trust that everything will be okay. The alternative is spiraling, and I don’t have time to add another hobby.

It’ll be a while before I have a toddler running around my house, but seeing the pictures parents submit to the “Got Toddlered” community actually makes me excited for what’s ahead. Hopefully someone will remind me that I said that when I’m cleaning yogurt off the ceiling.
