30 Things That Are Hard To Believe Were Once Normal
When I was a kid, leaving the house meant nobody could reach me until I came back. My parents had a general idea of where I was, which usually meant “somewhere outside.” Now I can watch a delivery driver move down my street one house at a time. I’m not saying we should go back, but it’s funny how quickly something completely normal can start sounding made up.
People in this Reddit thread remembered the little things that disappeared, like dropping by someone’s house unannounced or waiting a week to see whether any of your photos turned out. Others brought up childhood freedoms, old conveniences, and parts of the past we’re much better off leaving there.
