I’ve had jobs where the schedule changed at the last minute, and that was annoying enough. I can’t imagine getting a text from my boss saying the vacation they already approved is canceled because somebody else quit. At that point, it sounds like two people should quit.
A good boss can make a rough job bearable. A bad boss can make you start checking job listings during your lunch break, then again when you get home from work. The bosses in these posts seem confused by the idea that employees have families, days off, and lives that continue after 6 p.m.
