40 Terrible Book Covers That Really Want You To Judge The Book
“Don’t judge a book by its cover” is good advice, but these books are making it difficult. I’m sure there are wonderful stories inside some of them. I’d just like to know what happened on the outside first.
Book covers have a pretty big job. They have to catch your eye, hint at what you’re getting into, and convince you to pick up something you could just as easily walk past. The covers shared in r/TerribleBookCovers definitely handle that first part. I might have questions about the rest.
These covers made it all the way to print despite looking like someone, somewhere, should have asked for one more draft.
