I spend a lot of time thinking about things that will never become useful information. If my wife asks why I walked into the kitchen, I got nothing. If she wants my opinion on a fictional situation with no consequences, she should pull up a chair.

So I appreciate the people in these Tumblr posts. They’re willing to give a ridiculous thought the time it needs. They’ll consider the possibilities.

It’s nice to see other people doing this publicly. Makes me feel better about the arguments I’ve won in my head while waiting for the microwave.
