30 People Who Incorporated Their Disabilities Into Some Seriously Clever Halloween Costumes
My usual approach to Halloween is to wait until everything good is sold out, then see what kind of costume I can throw together with clothes I already own. It’s a system that has never once deserved a costume contest award. These people, however, clearly put some thought into it.
The Halloween costumes below incorporate disabilities, wheelchairs, prosthetics, and other mobility aids into some seriously clever ideas. There are some great character choices and visual jokes that take about half a second to land. I especially appreciate a costume where you can tell someone had the idea and thought, “Well, now I have to do this.”
I think all of them deserve better candy than the mystery taffy at the bottom of the bowl.
