17 Hilariously Unfiltered Letters From Kids Who Tried To Encourage The Troops
I’ll never get tired of the innocence of kids’ writing and saying things meant sincerely but sounding absolutely unhinged. These old letters from kids to troops have resurfaced on Twitter, and I don’t even know if I can call them fails, necessarily. It’s just… funny. They mean well, and it wasn’t their idea. It was the adults who mailed them off like this. Someone collected these, read them, and decided they were ready to go.
Well, those troops received encouragement from America’s youth, and if it wasn’t encouraging, at least they got to laugh. “Have a good time at the war!” is my favorite one. Like they’re sending someone off to summer camp.
