These days it’s genuinely hard to tell what’s real online. Photoshop already blurred that line years ago, and AI has made it so you basically can’t trust your own eyes anymore. Every photo comes with a small asterisk now, was this actually captured or was it generated, edited, enhanced somewhere along the way.
Despite all of that, there’s still real magic happening in photography, and not just from professionals with expensive gear either. Sometimes it’s just a completely normal photo where the timing and lighting lined up so perfectly that it looks fake even though nothing about it was touched.
