I’m not a particularly vengeful person, mostly because getting revenge sounds like another errand I’d have to run. If somebody wrongs me, there’s a pretty good chance I’ll just quietly resent them for the next 15 years.

But I respect people who can pull off petty revenge. Nothing dangerous or life-ruining. Just a small, carefully planned inconvenience that lets the other person know their actions did not go unnoticed.

Some plans took weeks of preparation. Others required nothing more than a minor adjustment and a willingness to be slightly more annoying than the person who started it.

That’s the kind of conflict resolution I can get behind.
