26 Cake Decorating Fails That Were Definitely Not What Anyone Ordered
My standards for cake are pretty lax. I’d like it to taste good, and I’d prefer my name spelled correctly, but I’m willing to negotiate on the second part if there’s enough frosting.
Still, ordering a custom cake adds a little pressure. You have to explain what you want CLEARLY and then hope the decorator understands exactly what you’re trying to communicate. Sometimes being literal just doesn’t work. But when it doesn’t, it’s hilarious..
These cake decorating fails cover everything from unfortunate spelling to designs that looked better on paper. I’d still eat most of them.
Once you’ve cut somebody a corner piece, it gets harder for them to complain about the lettering.
