Retro-Inspired Cat Beds Made By Man Who Upcycles Classic TVs And Radios
My grandfather’s garage was packed to the rafters with junk when he passed away. The man never threw anything out. His kids, however, had no problem dumping all of it. I wish I could’ve saved some stuff. There had to be some gems in there.
Retro tech isn’t just something that has to die a slow death in the junkyard or your pop-pop’s garage. It can still live a full life. That’s what the creator of “Nostalgic Nooks” believes.
This crafty man spends his time turning nostalgic vintage TVs and Radios into amazing cat beds.

This floor-standing AM shortwave console radio is about to breathe some new life.

Looks cozy af.

A Zenith ChromaColor II from the late ’70s. The curtains are a nice touch.

An Art Deco radio phonograph from the mid 1930s. Still looking beautiful.

A Philco (I think) floor-standing radio from the early 1930s.

This guy does such nice work. I love the scratching pad addition.

Another beautiful radio from the 1930s.

The pattern on it is gorgeous. What a lucky cat.

A British Murphy brand TV from the early 1950s. This one needed a lot of work, but was sure worth it.
