I grew up in the deep south, so obviously we had to follow a myriad of strange rules, up to and including making sure we wore condoms with our cousins. (Kidding of course. We never wore condoms.)

In all seriousness, my parents definitely never let us wear a hat in the house or anywhere but outside. Was that just a southern proper thing? How about you?
