Never lie on your resume to sound more qualified than you really are.
I once got a job after saying I had driven commercial vehicles before. I worked there for 4 days before they got my driving record results and saw that I not only did not have my commercial driver’s license, but I had about 6 speeding tickets. I was always told to “dress for the job I want, not the job I have.”
Thinking back, wearing a “Hannah’s Trucking” jumpsuit to my interview might have been misleading and not just inspirational.
