Bad tippers are my least favorite people. I think it should be a requirement for everyone to work in food service for at least one year because these rude customers clearly have never worked for tips.
If they did, they would know how awful they’re treating the people waiting on them. I don’t know where the entitlement comes from with some customers.
I’ve worked many delivery jobs and people are always surprised when I tell them how few customers actually tip. Or when they do, they tip a dollar or two on a bill that was much higher than that.
Unfortunately, there are more rude customers than you may think and I’m always okay with a little customer shaming. Hopefully, they’ll think twice about being a jerk the next time they go to a restaurant. These bad tippers and rude customers shouldn’t be allowed back in to any restaurant.
