Viral Thread Has People Sharing The Dumbest Things They Believed As Kids (25 Tweets)

What’s the dumbest belief you had as a child? Twitter user @ExileGrimm posed the question to their followers and the thread quickly went viral with people replying and sharing their dumb childhood beliefs.

I know kids are smart but sometimes things don’t click until you’re older. I think it’s hilarious when I hear a kid say something so dumb it’s actually brilliant. They just haven’t experienced life enough yet to filter their thoughts through.

I remember when I was about 11. Which I think is way too old to have this dumb of thought…but I totally thought that the clouds moving was earth rotating. You know, because the clouds stay in the same spot all day? If the Earth was spinning that fast, I’d be a few hundred years old. I’m just glad I never said it out loud to anyone. So here I am sharing it with all of you.

Share your dumb childhood belief with us in the comment section so I don’t feel so bad.
