Ok, I’m gonna come right out and say this: Up until about a year ago I was saying “nip it in the butt” instead of “nip it in the bud.” It makes perfect sense why you say “nip it in the bud” but I never really thought about it.
That is until a very kind person heard me say “nip it in the butt” and publicly shamed me.
My point is, do your part to educated idiots like me and the folks.
