Viral Thread Sparks Debate About “Red Flag” And “Green Flag” Movies (35 Tweets)

Film is subjective, which means you might like something that someone else thinks is bad, and that’s totally fine. But, can you judge whether or not you can trust someone based on their favorite films? One Twitter user seems to think so and they sparked a heated debate between everyone who responded.

In a tweet from @HosteenCholo that posed the question, “Hey Film Twitter, I got a question. We all know red flag movies, Fight Club, The Joker, etc, that we all can spot on sight, but are there any green flag movies? Movies that you hear someone say that make you instantly trust or like a person?”

Some people responded earnestly with their green flag movies, but many disagreed with his initial examples of Red Flag movies. It’s silly to think that you can judge one person’s character based on their favorite movies, especially Fight Club and Joker, but I’ll let you be the judge.
