OSHA fails are great examples of what NOT to do at work. We all cut corners sometimes but people like this are the reason we even need OSHA.
I haven’t had a “real job” in years. I’ve been working from home ever since and OSHA fails aren’t a thing in my apartment. Workplace safety for me is making sure my coffee isn’t anywhere near my keyboard or at least putting a lid on it.
1. “Safety warning in a hospital”
2. “We evacuated. The leak was worse than we were led to believe. We wore organic vapor respirators the next day to be on the safe side. Thank you for potentially saving our lives.”

4. “Taped the front door of a bar…”
5. “15 inch gap to get the fire extinguisher that’s surrounded by cardboard boxes filled with wooden cabinets”
6. “The ladders are ratchet strapped together”
7. “The way my sister’s husband manage his house’s electricity”
8. “Contracting in a building in Melbourne, we had a fire alarm test this morning and these bins appeared around an hour later”
9. “This looks like a accident waiting to happen…”
10. “I saw this today and it made me nervous”
11. “Who needs ladders?”
12. “This steel beam looks fine…right?”
13. “We are already in the hospital so it’ll be a short trip…”
14. “Caught at my job site yesterday…on the fifth floor, ladder up against the edge of the building not tied down, no pfas…oh and a wind advisory was in effect as well.”

17. “I hope he slapped those ratchet straps and said the magic words.”

22. “A forklift with a leaking gas tank right in front of the high voltage transformer. A nice surprise in the morning.”

24. “These guys unloading their own material off of my truck.”
25. “The lock out tag on a breaker at my job…literally scotch tape…”
26. “So do we blame the plumber or the electrician?”
27. “At the hotel I’m staying in…”
28. “It says don’t stand, what about sitting?”
