Every retail employee has to deal with their fair share of a-holes, Karens, and dummies, but you kind of assume people shopping at Goodwill are happy to have access to goods others have donated for free, so, at least in theory, less likely to act like jerks.
Apparently, that assumption could not be further from the truth, at least according to a recent viral TikTok posted by video creator @anniefizzle who says she’s a manager at a thrift store.
She shared these tales from behind the counter and has since racked up over 100k sympathetic views on TikTok.

This boss’s story really seems to resonate with users on TikTok, though some just took the opportunity to whine about how overpriced thrift stores have become and/or to suddenly realize that prices for thrift goods are pretty much made up on the spot.
