Hilarious Twitter Thread Explains Why You Shouldn’t Use Inappropriate Names For PayPal And Venmo Payments

Have you ever scrolled through your Venmo or PayPal feed to see what ridiculous and wildly immature names people choose for their transactions? I have, and it’s pretty entertaining.

Twitter user Dan Hett recently explained exactly how this came back to bite him after speaking with his mortgage lender. The tweet blew up and had fellow Twitter users sharing their own experiences.

Even a few lenders chimed in to say how it’s actually pretty funny when it happens and encourage everyone to keep doing it. You know, for entertainment purposes. I’m just glad to know I’m not the only one who does this.
