The build up for both Barbie and the Oppenheimer movie has been, well, a lot. So much that both of these movies better be amazing. I mean, the sheer amount of Barbie-Oppenheimer memes they have produced before even being released on July 21st is amazing.
Now, theaters are reporting that many people are preordering tickets to see both of these movies on the same day. Will these stark contrasts in tone go together? Will these movies even be good? Hollywood wouldn’t let us down, again, would they??

Hollywood always seems to think they have their finger on the pulse of culture but boy do they swing and miss a lot. We all remember the Morbius fiasco, where the “It’s Morbin Time” memes got so popular that they rerelease that turn of a movie thinking people would turn it into a cult classic. It did not.
