Here’s the data breakdown from YouGov:
Generational trends in the data aren’t black and white.
However, older men seem more hesitant about wearing pink (42%) and sharing a bed with a male friend (52%), possibly due to mobility concerns.
Older guys (65+) and younger ones (18-24) are most awkward about going to gay bars, while middle-aged dudes are generally more comfortable with the idea. The same goes for telling a male relative “I love you.”
According to the data, young men are super uncomfortable getting naked in front of other men—74% aren’t into it, compared to around half or less for older age groups. Young men also feel weirder about crying in front of their guy friends.
