For generations, society has held onto notions about gender roles that have often shaped the way children play and grow. Among these age-old beliefs was the idea that boys playing with dolls could somehow make them less “masculine” or, heaven forbid, “sissies.”
However, as our understanding of child development evolves, so too does our perspective on the importance of play for children.
Recently, one Tiktoker (arc_warrior) shared a video in response to the horrible tragedy in Robb Elementary in Texas.
