As a millennial, I’ve been feeling a bit out of touch with the younger crowd lately, especially with my Gen Z niece who gets a kick out of teasing me for my emoji use. Isn’t it wild how texting once blew our minds as cutting-edge tech, and now, using emojis is like waving a giant “I’m old” flag? But I’ve got a good sense of humor about it. Whenever a Gen Z text lands in my inbox, it’s usually pretty funny and serves as a friendly reminder that I’ve officially joined the adult club.
