Let’s face it, crafting isn’t for everyone. I know it’s fun to have a hobby or a side hustle that makes you some extra cash but some crafts aren’t meant to be sold on Etsy or Facebook Marketplace.
Enter the art of craft shaming. It’s the eye-twitching, second-hand embarrassment we get from those crafts that just make us go, “Yikes.” It’s high time we dish out some real talk to our artsy pals. So, next time you catch your friend about to dive headfirst into a new “passion project,” do them a solid. Steer them away from broadcasting those not-ready-for-primetime crafting fails online. Trust me, they’ll be sending you thank you cards later (hopefully, not homemade ones from their “crafting fails” collection).
