“Forbidden Toys” is an Instagram page from digital artist Rosemberg that imagines an alternate dimension full of twisted toys. His hilariously terrifying and deeply cursed images feature children smiling over such abominations as Barney’s Taxidermy or Zappy (a doll getting the electric chair).
The images are darkly funny but also remind us that in a world where kids are raised by social media, the days of a child exhibiting pure innocence probably won’t last as long as they used to.
