Petty Employee Reports Coworker For Cheating In Company Walking Competition

A friendly office step challenge seemed like a great way to encourage movement, boost morale, and even earn a half-day off work.

But like any workplace competition, things got competitive fast.

A few employees were pushing their limits, tracking impressive step counts, and engaging in some lighthearted rivalry.

Then, out of nowhere, one participant logged an eye-popping 65,000 steps in a single day—more than a marathon’s worth of movement.

Naturally, this raised a few eyebrows.

Not everyone was on board with that interpretation, and when a coworker questioned the fairness of it, things got personal fast.

One employee (u/GalaxyGarlic) reported the dubious walker to the higher-ups but is now wondering if they went too far for a silly contest.

So they went to the AITA page on Reddit to ask what the internet thinks of the situation.
