I grew up camping — real camping. Not that glamping with air mattresses and portable espresso machines. The kind of camping where the bathroom is a tree and you have to fight three raccoons to keep your lunch.
I loved it. The good and the bad. Being in nature. The campfire smoke in my eyes no matter where I sat. It wasn’t comfortable but it was always fun.
