I haven’t quit a job on the first day but I have been fired a couple times. Sometimes you get into your first day and you very quickly realize you are not cut out for the work. Some folks walk out, I just do an extremely bad job.
These are the walk out people. Employees who started their new job and decided it was so toxic to be there they said “nah, I’m out.” I respect that. Life is too short to be unhappy for 40 hours a week.
This Reddit post had workers sharing their “I’m outta here” moments and it feels good to know there are so many people out there who aren’t going to sit in a job they hate. Make like a Taco Bell and “Live Mas.”
