I live in the city, which means my gardening experience is mostly limited to houseplants and occasionally keeping a basil plant alive long enough to use it. Still, I’ve learned that plant people are a different breed.
Give someone a house plant and suddenly they’re checking humidity levels, rotating pots toward the sun, and rescuing sad-looking plants from the clearance rack. I get it, though.
There’s something satisfying about watching a plant grow, even if it’s only producing one new leaf every few months.
