A little context on me first, so you understand the weight of what I’m about to say.
I am online for a living. All day, every day, I am elbow-deep in the strangest, most cursed corners of the internet. The stuff that would make a normal person close their laptop and go live in the woods.
I have seen things. I have become hard to rattle. My baseline for “disturbing” left the building years ago, and frankly, most days I scroll past horrors with the emotional response of a man checking the weather.
So believe me when I tell you: these did something to me.
Everything in this gallery comes from r/OddlyTerrifying, that subreddit dedicated to images which aren’t gory or violent or obviously wrong, they’re just off. The kind of wrong your brain notices before you can explain why. The deep, primal, hair-on-the-back-of-your-neck wrong.
And these particular ones got past my defenses, crawled right up my spine, and set up camp.
