30 Oddly Terrifying Pictures You’ll Wish You Weren’t So Fascinated By
I’m not usually one to look into anything that’s actually terrifying. I like horror movies, but I’m not going to a haunted house. That’s a bit much. I like my scares on a screen where I can pause them and go get a snack.
The r/oddlyterrifying subreddit is different. It’s real-world spooky stuff that’s terrifying for a multitude of reasons. Sometimes it’s an animal you didn’t realize was enormous. Sometimes it’s a medical image you probably didn’t need to see. Other times it’s something completely normal that happens to look horrifying from a certain angle.
These pictures are creepy, fascinating, and difficult to look away from. I wouldn’t want to see most of them in person, but looking at them safely through my computer feels like a reasonable compromise.
