I grew up in Detroit so Canada was just a 20-minute drive across the border. America and Canada are different in many ways. You can go to the bar at age 19 and they put gravy and cheese curds on their fries, which sounds like something and American invented. They’ll forgive you for just about everything but a DUI but I refuse to learn the metric system.
