I went to Catholic School for most of my youth, and while that cured me of any religion in my adult life, I’ve always thought Jesus seemed like a cool dude. Definitely one of the most reasonable folks in the Bible.
That being said, I’m pretty sure Jesus could take a joke. I like to think that’d laugh and admire the creativity rather than getting angry or defensive. I admire this quality in a person and that’s probably why I’ve written so many jokes about Jesus over the years.
So, don’t feel bad about laughing at the funny Jesus tweets. He’ll forgive you, because that’s kind of his thing.
