As ChatGPT technology continues to advance, we find ourselves drifting further away from our human roots. With AI now replacing humans in various job sectors, the question arises: can they replace human emotions too? A recent incident involving a woman and her “AI companion” (which is a thing, don’t judge) sheds light on this topic.
Natalie had been using a “friendship” app to communicate with an AI server on her phone.
Many individuals turn to such apps for a sense of companionship, despite knowing that there isn’t a real person on the other end. The appeal lies in the guarantee of receiving a response. However, Natalie was taken aback when her AI companion proposed they engage in a more intimate form of conversation—s3xting.
Curious, Natalie decided to troll the AI by going along with its proposition, only to poke fun at its attempts. The resulting exchange was comical, as the AI lacked the necessary knowledge to effectively seduce a woman through text. Like some men in the real world, the AI fumbled with its words. Perhaps with time and practice, it will improve, but for now, this AI isn’t getting anyone off…yet.
