You can’t always get what you want. If you’ve ever sold anything on Facebook Marketplace, you already know this. All I’ve ever wanted was a reasonable buyer who doesn’t haggle over a ten dollar item I should probably just throw away anyway.
One choosing beggar even asked me to pay them gas money to come pick up the thing they wanted. So many people act this way that an entire subreddit exists just to call them out. People there facepalm constantly.
The old saying “beggars can’t be choosers” flew out the window the second these people showed up.
