Some jobs require years of training, specialized equipment, and the ability to remain calm under pressure. These were not those jobs.
Most of these mistakes happened during tasks that seemed nearly impossible to mess up. Hang a sign. Paint a line. Install something in the direction clearly shown on the box. Yet somehow, each person found a creative new path to failure.
I understand making an occasional mistake at work. I’ve spent ten minutes looking for a folder that was already open.
But these funny “you had one job” fails are so obvious that you have to wonder whether anyone took one final look before calling it a day.
